Dr. Evon Walters  is currently the Executive Dean and Campus CEO of the Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College.  He brings twenty years of experience in Higher Education, with eleven years at the executive level. He was a fellow of the American Council on Education in 2003. He has published extensively in the areas of student success, strategic planning and institutional diversity. He currently serves on the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce board. Nationally, he is on the Community College Advancement Advisory Council , as well as being a system appraiser for the academic quality program (AQIP) for the Higher Learning Commission.
